About Us

I’ve always felt it was my purpose to help others. After my family and I moved into our Georgia home, I met my widowed senior neighbor who, like many in our neighborhood, had a steep, sloped driveway. One day noticing her attempting to move her trash bin, I offered to take care of it for her — simply to ease the burden.

Later, while traveling and unable to move my own bins or my neighbor's, I realized in that moment there was a real need for this kind of assistance, and that many people may face this same challenge.

That realization led to the founding of Bin-Assistant.
